O’Neal Quarterly Leadership Workshop:
"Orchestrating Success: Lab Management and Team Dynamics"

The UAB O’Neal Cancer Center is working to train the next generation of leaders in the oncology space. As part of that mission, it is hosting leadership and mentorship development workshops quarterly to help early-career and established faculty develop and advance their careers.

This first session is an opportunity to gain insight and perspective on building your lab, its culture and ensuring its long-term success. The even will feature a 60 minute panel discussion with Q&A from the audience about all topics related to mentoring, recruiting, conflict resolution, and lab management. We have an invited panel of experienced mentors, educators and researchers: Susan Bellis, Ph.D.; Carlos Estrada,M.D.; David Pollock, Ph.D.; Adam Wende, Ph.D.; and Karina Yoon, Ph.D., who will offer their perspectives and address audience questions.
