This virtual workshop is a practical resource tailored for UAB hiring managers and supervisors who play a key role in welcoming and integrating new staff into the UAB Community. Participants will gain actionable strategies for creating a smooth, engaging, and effective onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success.

1) Learn why onboarding matters and how it influences retention, engagement, and performance.
2) Explore effective approaches and tools that make onboarding more impactful and efficient.
3) Hear real-world insights, lessons learned, and solutions found from a panel of experienced UAB managers.
