About this Event
1300 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35233
In the 2022-23 school year, 175 students from across BCS high schools embarked on a Youth & Peace in Action journey to become certified NewGen Peacebuilders. They developed seven ideas for projects to reduce violence and increase peace. In 2023-24, student teams and their teachers/activators worked with community partners to implement the projects. The essence of the initiative is aligned with the Common Ground strategy launched by the Office of the Mayor. It’s time to present the results.
