Neuroengineering/Human Systems Neuroscience Colloquium
About this Event
1719 6th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233
Every other week, we have an expert speaker about an aspect of Human Systems Neuroscience or Neuroengineering. In the week leading up to the expert’s seminar, we have a journal club about a related paper, during which we dissect the methods of the paper. Everyone is welcome to both of these!
Each semester we have a theme. This semester, our theme is: "Measuring, Mapping, and Modulating the Human Brain." The overarching idea is to invite speakers to discuss a particular methodological approach in human systems neuroscience—not just in terms of what it allows us to study, but also its strengths, limitations, and how advances in analytic techniques can help overcome those limitations.
