The Navigating Conflict course has been designed to effectively address conflict and directly supports UAB's shared values of Respect, Accountability, as well as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
This two-session course will be held Tuesday, November 9th and 16th.
Session I Objectives:
- Identify causes of conflict to effectively navigate.
- Describe conflict management approaches and determine when each is most appropriate.
- Recognize your default conflict style and build competence and confidence across all styles.
Session II Objectives:
- Identify practical tools to effectively manage and resolve conflict.
- Review techniques and strategies for having difficult conversations.
- Apply tools to a case situation.
UAB Learning & Development workshops are a no-cost benefit to UAB employees.
