Here, presenters discuss their decision to pursue their chosen career and the thoughts, challenges, and life experiences they encountered along the way.

Dr. Moody is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology here at UAB. His research interests include medical sociology, mental health, racism-related stress, and health equity. Dr. Moody was described by his nominator as kind and approachable – and a delight to listen to.
