This will be a three-day, two-night backpacking trip primarily inside of the Cheaha Wilderness area. The total mileage will be around 18 miles, and we will hike sections of the Pinhoti, Chinabee Silent, and Skyway Trails. This trip will take you on the tallest ridge of mountains in Alabama and will also have multiple opportunities to walk through waterfalls.

This trip has a day of very vigorous uphill hiking. The majority of this trip will take place in the backcountry and we will not have access to cell service. There are multiple creek crossings.

Registration will be open August 20 through Ocotber 10. Registration spots available: 16; minimum number of enrollments to run the trip: 8

Mandatory pretrip meeting is October 10 at 6:00pm at the University Rental Center located at the back of the Campus Rec Center.
