Join the Mary Heersink Institute for Global Health for a seminar featuring guest speaker Emily Wong, M.D., Associate Professor and Scientist in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the UAB Heersink School of Medicine.
Dr. Wong will present a brief overview of one of the Institute’s key global health partners, the Africa Health Research Institute, followed by a presentation of her work, "Unraveling the mysteries of asymptomatic TB using next-generation population science in rural KwaZulu-Natal."
