Mental Health & Young Athletes: Stress, Eating Disorders, and More
Wednesday, August 30, 2023 12pm to 1pm
About this Event
Let's face it, a lot of pressure is placed on young athletes that goes beyond their athletic performance. Join us as we identify possible signs of mental health struggles as part of Mental Health & Young Athletes: Stress, Eating Disorders, and More.
Dr. Dayna Watson, Assistant Professor of Human Studies, will also share when and how we need to respond when an athlete self-reports health struggles, and what communications skills help get us through these difficult conversations.
Mental Health & Young Athletes: Stress, Eating Disorders, and More is part of our Pushed to Play webinar series taking a look at topics that are important for youth athletes and their parents.
