Mental Health Matters: Checking in When You’re Concerned

Presented by Lisa Schwiebert, Jennifer Griffin, and Angela Stowe. Join this workshop for UAB faculty and staff to gain awareness about mental health during times of stress, anxiety, and uncertainty and learn individual and organizational strategies to support student mental health and wellbeing. 

Self-care and campus resources will be discussed, and participants will be provided with tools that they can use and implement in courses and other campus environments with students.  This 1- hour workshop is presented by Angela Stowe, Director of Student Counseling Services.
