Mental Health Matters: Responding to Students in Distress

Description: Come learn to be REAL (Recognize, Empathize, Ask, and Link) in supporting mental health for our students and the UAB community. We’ll provide you with basic tools to better understand and support mental health for all. Participants will receive a 4x4" mental health decal to indicate to students that you are a person who supports mental health at UAB.
Please Note: This workshop is designed for current UAB teaching faculty, instructors of record, academic advisors, and other student-facing staff members. Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are invited to attend the CTL LIFT series workshops instead.
