Course description
A culture of excellence is fostered when employees know their efforts are recognized and valued. Many leaders have trouble conveying recognition and appreciation effectively or providing it frequently enough, even though doing so can profoundly affect their department or unit. This program addresses praise and recognition in three aspects: rewards as tokens, demonstrations of appreciation, and growth opportunities.
Learning Outcomes
1) Explore why recognition and appreciation are something organizations and teams should embrace.
2) Analyze the benefits of different approaches for showing recognition and appreciation in the workplace.
3) Create a list of "must have" behaviors to ensure praise and recognition effectiveness.
4) Develop and execute a plan for reward and recognition that can be executed within two weeks following the session.
