Life after Prison: Insights from the Offender Alumni Association
Thursday, October 1, 2020 4pm to 5pm
About this Event
About 95% of the people who go to state prisons will be released at some point. How do past offenders navigate a world that stigmatizes them and holds them back? Join us for a panel discussion with members of the Offender Alumni Association to learn more about re-entry and how we can improve the lives of past offenders.
Due to technology restrictions we will pre-record this lecture with a class, but we are taking question submissions ahead of time! Please send your questions to lhc@uab.edu by September 25.
