The Lean Into Leadership program is intended for those new to management at UAB and those recently promoted to a people-leader position. This is a two-day program:
November 11th: 1:00 pm-3:30 pm
November 12th: 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Learning Outcomes
Day One
1) Identify differences between leading and managing.
2) Review and reflect upon pre-session assessment; begin development plan.
3) Analyze the application of leadership best practices.
Day Two
1) Review change and transition research and apply it to real-world experience.
2) Identify strategies that build trust and foster a positive workplace culture.
