Dr. Sherrer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at UAB. He earned his medical degree from the UAB Heersink School of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Tennessee, where he served as Chief Resident. He also holds an MBA from Samford University's Brock School of Business. He is a recognized leader in physician development and serves as a mentor and educator committed to advancing thoughtful, inclusive leadership in healthcare and beyond.
