Into the Streets

Into the Streets is a bi-annual program sponsored by the Leadership and Service Council designed to connect UAB students, faculty, and staff to the Birmingham community through a day of service. 

Service opportunities are broken into multiple 2-hour shifts throughout the day. Each volunteer must register to participate. Registration deadline is September 14.

On the day of the event, volunteers should go directly to their service site (the address is provided at registration). Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a student Site Leader from the Leadership & Service Council. For disability accommodations, contact
