Into the Streets

This is a past event.

Into the Streets is a bi-annual program sponsored by the Leadership and Service Council, UAB Housing & Residence Life, and Live HealthSmart Alabama designed to connect UAB students, faculty, and staff to the Birmingham community through a day of service.

Each volunteer must register to participate. Volunteers are asked to report to McMahon Hall at 9:00 am for a kick-off which includes check-in, breakfast from Chick-fil-A, and an education component before departing for service. Transportation is provided to 12 of the service sites; please review the site description on BlazerPulse for more information.

Service opportunities will appear on the BlazerPulse Into the Streets page. To serve, you must click on the event and then select the "register" button.
