Inspiration for Innovative Teaching - Half Day Event

Description: Come and join us at the CTL and complete two workshops in one day: one Using AI in the Classroom workshop and one Teaching Effectiveness workshop. After each workshop, you'll be part of a focused workgroup to collaborate on applying the workshop principles to your courses.
Can't commit to a half day? No problem! Below is the agenda for our sessions, and we welcome you to attend either specific workshop of interest:
- 9:00am -11:30am Teaching Effectiveness: Cheat-Proof your Course - Incentivizing Investment in Authentic Work
- Lunch*
- 11:30am - 1:30pm Using AI in the Classroom: Redesign Your Assignments/Your Course
*Lunch provided for participants who are registered for both workshops
Please Note: This event is designed for current UAB teaching faculty, instructors of record, academic advisors, and other student-facing staff members. Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are invited to attend the CTL LIFT series workshops instead.
