Inner Peace, Inner Panda: A Kung Fu Panda Meditation Workshop

https://uab.campuslabs.com/engage/event/12068142Residents are invited to an introduction on meditation, including breathing techniques that can be used while meditating or in any situation where you feel stressed, nervous, or anxious.
We will have a 10-15 minute session on the benefits of meditation. There will be a slideshow prepared on the science backed effects of meditation and why it is important that you try and implement it into your daily routine. Afterwards, we will complete a 10-minute meditation practice led by a video from Student Counseling Services.
Residents will then have time to get some healthy snacks: dark chocolate, fruit, and green tea.
