In Defense of the Damned

This is a past event.

Pre-law students are volunteering to serve practicing attorneys who are learning critical skills for all phases of the most difficult trials - where LIFE, DEATH AND FREEDOM are one the line.

Students will learn how to discover the story of cases, develop honest defenses, and perfect performance during the most critical trial phases including voir dire, opening statement, direct, cross-examination and final argument.

Supported by an experienced team of criminal defense lawyers, behavioral experts and communications specialists, students will learn innovative TLC methods by doing, not suffering through endless lectures.

This event is sponsored by the Trial Lawyers College.

Application and approval required. Contact Prof. Blankenship at blbjd@uab.edu to apply.
