About this Event
"EnRICH Program Inaugural year – Looking for Champions & Collaborators"
EnRICH (Engaging Researchers and Innovators for Commercialization at HBCUs) is a human health-focused innovation harvesting and commercialization “pre-accelerator” program for faculty and student innovators at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The program is led by Jackson State University, an urban research HBCU located in Jackson, MS, with support from leadership at XLerateHealth and the University of Kentucky Office of Technology Commercialization.
Currently, 31 HBCUs in eight IDeA-eligible states are eligible to apply. EnRICH is looking for university members in each state to champion the program and encourage the collaborative development of healthcare-focused ideas throughout the HBCU community. EnRICH’s first cohort of 13 faculty and 2 students from Jackson State University and Claflin University began meeting this month to develop their ideas.
