Graduate Student Writing Groups

Join the UWC graduate student writing groups! Writing regularly in a group can help you stay accountable, keep on track, and find more enjoyment in the writing process. Meeting regularly with a writing group can also help you set and achieve short and long-term goals for your writing.

During each writing group meeting, a writing center facilitator will help participants set goals for the session. After focused writing time, the group will conclude by setting goals for the week and scheduling one-on-one appointments with a writing tutor, if desired.

Writing groups are free and open to all graduate students working on theses, dissertations, course papers, or even personal writing. Coffee and tea will be served.

Wednesday, June 5 at 1:00pm to 3:00pm
