AI is rewriting the rules of modern life - and we'll explore the ethical questions at the heart of that transformation. Good, Risky, or Unknown? The Ethics of Everyday AI dives into the philosophical foundations shaping responsible use.

Rather than centering on everyday tips and tricks, this webinar tackles deeper questions:

  • What should we value as AI advances?
  • What moral boundaries deserve defending?

Dr. Josh May, Professor of Philosophy, will guide you through classic and emerging ethical frameworks that illuminate today's debates.

About Our Guest

Dr. May's work connects ethics with insights from psychology and neuroscience. He studies why moral disagreements are hard to resolve and how scientific evidence can inform debates about free will, moral progress, and social charge. He holds a BA in Philosophy from CSU Sacramento and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
