The Global Health Interest Group aims to gather funds for the acquisition of four hundred dental kits, which will be dispatched to the Buiga-Sunrise Center in Uganda, an internship location offered by the Sparkman Center for Global Health. This center readies UAB students for practical learning in the field of healthcare and education. Our primary attention for the bake sale will be directed toward the center's school, where we plan to deliver dental kits to children in Grades 1-5. It is our fervent wish that these kits will aid in enhancing their understanding of the significance of maintaining proper oral hygiene.
