Join Ashley Clarke, UAB EACC yoga instructor, for a chair-based yoga class focused on alignment. When we sit or stand for long periods of time, or due to injury or illness, our bodies begin to compensate by overextending and over-using other parts of the body. Practice core engagement and work with the shoulders, thoracic spine and hips to realign and soften tired muscles and joints — a beautiful way to begin the new year off right!
