Presented in the UAB Center for Teaching and Learning for UAB faculty by Michelle Cook, Ph.D.

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers over 400 awards annually to over 135 countries to support teaching, research, and other professional projects.  Join UAB’s Fulbright Scholar Liaison, Michelle Cook, to learn more about Fulbright opportunities for US citizens. Fulbright is open to faculty and staff with terminal degrees at all career levels, including postdocs. Faculty can also recommend the program to PhD students in their final year as they are also eligible. During this workshop you will also hear from UAB faculty about their experiences on-grant with the program. UAB’s Fulbright Scholar Liaison, Michelle Cook, will moderate a panel discussion and Q&A.

Registration is requested for CTL events. Register by clicking the "I'm interested" button.

Please note:  The UAB Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) presents workshops on teaching practice for UAB faculty (including adjunct instructors), pre-approved graduate students who are currently under contract to teach academic courses at UAB, and teaching staff.  Academic advisors and staff who work directly with students are also approved to come to non-teaching focused workshops. CTL workshops are not intended for UAB graduate or undergraduate students.
