This event is part of the Sparkman Center for Global Health Fall Seminar Series. Dr. Angela Sullivan, Assistant Dean for Admissions & Enrollment Management and Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Behavior at the UAB School of Public Health, will lead an in-depth exploration of suicide prevention. The session will cover global, national, and local suicide rates, provide an overview of available crisis intervention training options, and delve into key theories and current class on suicide prevention. Lunch will be provided.
