Finding Your Wakanda: Family Trees, Tribes and Genetics

This is a past event.

Don't miss African Ancestry Co-founder Dr. Gina Paige as she presents on the importance of Black identity through the lens of genetics ancestry tracing, including a live reveal of one UAB student's DNA Results.

In a dynamic, interactive exchange, Paige explores family trees, DNA, Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and cultural and historical nuances that provoke new thought on who we are in today's America.

Participants are invited to ask questions, share experiences and take the first step in finding their Wakanda!
