Block A: Friday, August 21 - 5pm-8:40pm (4 hours CE)
Block B: Saturday, August 22 - 8am-11:30am (4 hours CE)
Block C: Saturday, August 22 - 12:30pm-4:00pm (4 hours CE)
Block D: Sunday, August 23 - 8am-11:30am AND 12:30-2:20pm (6 hours CE)

*Accredidation Information

This event is approved by COPE for LIVE CE under their 2020 online CE rule modification. Please note that although COPE’s rules are modified to allow INTERACTIVE DISTANCE LEARNING (i.e. live webinars) to count as LIVE CE, individual State and Provincial Optometry Boards may have different rules. We advise you to contact your State or Provincial Boards where you are licensed for verification before registering for this CE event.

CEE (transcript quality or certified CE) courses are not included in the waiver, and will not be offered at this meeting. All CEE courses must be presented in person, face-to-face, per State Board requirements regarding CEE. There are currently no exceptions to this rule. Please contact your State Board for questions regarding CEE/TQ.

Registration & Zoom Details

This event will occur via Zoom Webinar.

Please register through UABSO’s Registration portal with an email address you check regularly, as this will be the only email used to send Zoom Webinar access information.

We will send Zoom Webinar access emails 1 week before the meeting, 3 days before the meeting, and again on the morning of the call. We will send a separate access email for each CE block (Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, and Sunday). Please add to your calendar and/or bookmark the email(s) for easy reference.

UABSO is not responsible for misplaced Zoom Webinar access emails due to use of inactive email address and/or spam folder settings.

To cancel your registration, you must email Kathryn Trammell at ktram@uab.edu. No refunds after August 15th.

Attendance

Credits will ONLY be given to those registered through UAB’s online portal. Sharing Zoom links is not allowed.

Attendees must stay on the webinar for at least 50 minutes per hour to receive credit.

Certificates will be prepared and sent digitally to all attendees after registration reports are reviewed.
