Faculty Recital: James Zingara, trumpet

 Dr. James Zingara, trumpet and Chris Steele, piano will present a “Out on a Limb,” a demonstration recital featuring common as well as unusual instruments and techniques on Tuesday, September 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the UAB Hulsey Center Recital Hall. Won Cho, bass, will be featured as special guest soloist. Instruments to be performed include a flugelhorn, a modern cornet, a 1905 vintage cornet, and on B-flat, C, E-flat, piccolo, F Alto, natural, and Baroque trumpets. Works will include pieces by Joe L. Alexander, Eugene Bozza, George Frideric Handel, Georg Philipp Telemann, Giuseppe Torelli, Fisher Tull, and Stephan Wolpe.
