Exercise Medicine Journal Club (GBS 746J Exercise Medicine) - hosted by the UAB Center for Exercise Medicine - which was previously open only to UAB Graduate Students is now open to anyone interested in Exercise Biology and Medicine.
This season's focus will be "Tissue Specific Effects of Exercise."
Journal Club highlights:

In UCEM’s Exercise Medicine journal club, participants will interact with scientists and clinicians from several disciplines.

Discussions will highlight the latest and most impactful exercise-based research in both human and animal model systems.

Each month, one journal club topic will also relate to the monthly UCEM Distinguished Lecture Series spanning molecular, biological, clinical, and behavioral research.
