This presentation explores the data infrastructure behind the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine trials conducted across the UK, Brazil, and South Africa. This highlights how REDCap was strategically deployed to enable fast, accurate, and large-scale data capture under unprecedented conditions. Throughout the presentation we will discover how integrated tools, such as e-consent, digital diaries, and real-time data cleaning, transformed trial delivery by improving participant safety, streamlining operations, and accelerating timelines.
