A Wellscreen is a free 15-minute health screen for all UAB, UAB Hospital, LLC, UA Health Services Foundation, UAB Health System, and Cooper Green employees who are eligible for a medical plan. Wellscreens measure blood pressure, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, blood sugar, BMI, triglycerides, and cholesterol/HDL ratio. UAB Employee Wellness offers the annual biometric screening program in partnership with Live HealthSmart Alabama. 

Wellscreens 2024 will be offered October 1-November 11 at nine locations across campus. A limited number of appointments are available per date. Registration opens August 19.
