Dr. Marcia Chatelain: Lecture on Civil Rights

The Department of History welcomes Dr. Marica Chatelain, who is presenting the first inaugural Rita and Sol Kimerling Lecture on Civil Rights: “Bigger than a Hamburger: Civil Rights, Fast Food Franchises, and the Unfinished Business of Racial Justice.” Dr. Chatelain is Professor of Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania and is a Pulitzer Prize winner and the author of Franchise: The Golden Arches in Black America.
