DISC-Understanding Your Behavioral Style
About this Event
1717 11th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233
This in-person [MT419A] session covers the widely used behavioral assessment DISC Behavior Model employed in workplaces and personal development settings. The DISC model aims to help individuals understand and improve their communication, teamwork, and overall interpersonal effectiveness. People possess a combination of the four primary behavioral traits: dominance, influence, steadiness, and compliance, with one or two being more dominant in their behavior. By increasing self-awareness through the use of the DISC Behavioral Model, participants can adapt their communication and behavior to work more effectively with individuals whose styles may differ. This model is often used in team-building workshops, leadership development programs, and conflict-resolution processes to improve communication and collaboration within groups and organizations.
NOTE: During the session, participants will complete a paper-based version of the DISC Behavioral Model.
