Over 85% of Americans are online on a daily basis, and nearly all teens have access to a smartphone (Pew Research Center). The internet is an integral part of everyday life—we use it for communication and entertainment, to gather information, and to conduct transactions. This talk will demonstrate how Criminal Justice faculty are working with the UAB Computer Forensics Research Lab to illustrate online activity and offline risktaking. Please join (online or in-person) to learn about how digital forensics techniques can be applied to an array to research topics.
