5:30 - 6:30pm: Research Poster Session and Reception. The Department of Biology will present a poster session highlighting current research.
6:30 - 7:30pm: Keynote Lecture by Dr. Frank Rosenzweig titled "Reliving the History of Life using Experimental Evolutionary Genomics". Frank Rosenzweig, PhD is an evolutionary geneticist and NASA astrobiologist whose research seeks to illuminate the evolution of complex traits that increase biodiversity and drive major transitions in the history of life.
Darwin Day sponsors are the UAB Honors College, the Department of Psychology, and the College of Arts & Sciences
