Presented in the UAB Center for Teaching and Learning for UAB faculty by Dr. Jonan Donaldson.

Description:

  • This workshop invites faculty members to explore the transformative potential of Generative AI tools in enhancing literature review competencies among students. Led by an expert in the application of advanced technologies within learning environments, a librarian specializing in literature reviews, and a student who has been using these approaches, this session will provide practical insights into integrating AI tools for a variety of literature review formats, from sections in academic papers to comprehensive scoping reviews. Participants will engage with strategies that not only streamline the research process but also encourage critical engagement and analytical thinking, fostering a more dynamic and collaborative approach to scholarly investigations. Join us to discover how these technologies can be leveraged to enrich learning experiences and elevate academic outcomes.
