Registration is now open for the 2019 Community Health Innovation Awards (CHIA) seventh annual grant competition that calls on local organizations to determine creative and bold solutions to community health concerns! The program includes a structured schedule of workshops, proposal submissions, and a formal presentation to a panel of judges. Award-winning organizations receive grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000.
All interested participants must attend this mandatory Innovation Workshop.
You must be registered to attend the workshop by Friday, September 20.
Did You Know? The CHIA Awards are supported by the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the Center for Clinical and Translational Science's (CCTS) One Great Community (OGC). OGC's goal is to connect basic science and clinical researchers with the multiple communities they serve to ensure their research efforts respond to and reflect the needs of the community via an active process of community involvement, dialogue, and mutual understanding.
