The University of Alabama at Birmingham's College of Arts and Sciences will host its inaugural Graduate Research Day on November 20, 2024.
The event will feature remarks from Rajesh Kana, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Graduate and Continuing Education, and Kecia M. Thomas, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Suzanne Barbour, Ph.D., Graduate School Dean and VP for Graduate Education at Duke University, will deliver the keynote address.
In addition, the event will feature graduate student "Lightning Talks," a panel discussion titled "Navigating Graduate School and Early Career," and a poster presentation session.
