UAB Faculty: Classroom Technology Demonstration

This is a past event.

Are you a UAB Faculty member teaching in a UAB IT Standard Classroom and want to better understand how to use the technology to its full potential? The UAB Center for Teaching and Learning is once again partnering with UAB IT's Classroom Technology group to provide one-on-one training and technology demonstrations. Join us in the atrium on the 4th floor of Lister Hill Library*, the new home for the UAB CTL. Demonstration times/days are listed below--registration is not required.

  • Monday, August 21, 2023
    • 9 AM-11 AM
    • 1 PM-3 PM
  • Tuesday, August 22, 2023
    • 9 AM-11 AM
    • 1 PM-3 PM

*All UAB faculty must scan their ONE Card in the Lister Hill Library elevator to access the 4th floor. The atrium is to the left after exiting the elevator.

If you are unable to attend one of these sessions, you can always call 205-996-9999 (6-9999 on campus) to schedule an individual appointment with a UAB IT technician.

IMPORTANT: Before showing up for an in-person demonstration, all faculty must first watch UAB eLearning's interactive classroom technology video tutorial and visit UAB eLearning's lecture capture website to learn more about the technology and to search for the specific classroom in which you are teaching to verify that it is managed by UAB IT.
