Clarinetists of all ages and abilities are invited to UAB for a fun weekend of masterclasses with professional clarinetists from around the UA and Canada, recitals, clarinet choirs, a vendor room to try instruments and equipment, and lots of clarinet comradery!
Featured Artist, Michelle Anderson, Vancouver clarinetist and Backun Artist who performs with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and West Coast Chamber Music Series. Michelle Anderson also founded the 'Clarinet Mentors', a huge online teaching research for clarinetists worldwide. Other artists include Diane Barger, Buffet Artist Professor of Clarinet at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and President of the International Clarinet Association; Charles West, Buffet Artist, Professor Emeritus, Virginia Commonwealth University Past President of ICA, the Tara Winds Clarinet Choir, and several professional clarinetists from around the region.
