Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event Training

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) training provides strategies, guidance and a plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics taught in the course include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues and considerations for conducting drills. The UAB Police Department provides this free training to students, faculty and staff.
