Chamber Music @ AEIVA will present four world premiere compositions inspired by the AEIVA exhibit "Marking Time: Art in the Age of Mass Incarceration". Written by regional composers from the Birmingham Art Music Alliance, these works feature combinations of violin, viola, and piano and will be performed by members of the UAB Department of Music faculty and Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
Collaboration with the UAB Music Department, AEIVA, and the Birmingham Art Music Alliance curated by Laura Usiskin.
