Join the Maternal & Child Health Student Association (MCHSA) for this upcoming seminar! Our guest speaker is Rena Patel, MD, MPH, MPhil, Associate Professor, Infectious Diseases, School of Medicine, UAB. Dr. Patel is also a Scientist with the UAB Center for AIDS Research and a Scientist with the UAB Center for Clinical & Translational Science.
In this seminar, Dr. Patel will showcase her research team’s work in parts of sub-Saharan Africa at the intersections of MCH and HIV, highlighting existing challenges in the field as well as opportunities to improve the related health outcomes. The seminar will include a Q&A to discuss participant questions or experiences to-date.
