Celebrating Diversity through Children's Literature

This is a past event.

A series of read-aloud "story time" events for young children. Texts will be selected by early childhood and reading specialist faculty and read by pre-service education students within the School of Education.

The goals of the read aloud event is two-fold: to inform the community about the role of children's literature in expanding children's understandings of the world around them through positive diverse representation and to provide reading activities that can be shared with our UAB families and communities beyond the lecture hall.
