1. Hearts of large mammals, such as pigs, have regenerative capacity, driven by cardiac myocyte division, but this potential is lost immediately after birth.
2.Potency of hiPSC-CMs based cell transfer therapy can be enhanced by combining controlled released of thymosin β4 and therapeutic arteriogenesis.
3. Discuss and explain the current understanding of the major roadblocks in cardiac cell therapy, and the potential approaches to overcome these problems.
