CAMBAC Research Day 2018 - Regenerative Medicine in Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases

The Comprehensive Arthritis, Musculoskeletal, Bone, and Autoimmunity Center (CAMBAC) will hold its Fifth Annual Research Day on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the UAB National Alumni House.  The keynote speaker will be Farshid Guilak, PhD, Professor, Department of Orthopaedics Washington University.  Other featured speakers include Scott Guelcher, PhD, Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Vanderbilt School of Engineering, Director, Vanderbilt Center for Bone Biology and Hicham Drissi, PhD, Professor Departments of Orthopaedics and Cell Biology, Emory University, Vice Chair, Research, Department of Orthopaedics, as well as select UAB faculty and trainees. 

A poster session held during the symposium will highlight the research of undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral trainees including clinical fellows and residents.  Trainees are invited to submit abstracts on any topic that relates to one of the CAMBAC themes.  There will be cash awards for principal authors of the top three abstracts (as determined by faculty judges).  Registration is required, but is FREE.
