This is a partnership with the Institute for Human Rights, Sustainability, Transportation, and the Environmental Health Sciences department of the School of Public Health.
We will hear from:
- Ryan Gravel, whose master's thesis is what sparked the Atlanta BeltLine
- Dr. Natalie Colabianchi, director of the Environment and Policy Laboratory at the University of Michigan
- Representatives for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, UAB Facilities, UAB SOPH, and the greater Birmingham Community
This event will include keynotes and plenaries, as well as several networking and planning opportunities. There will be ample opportunities to discuss the intersection of the built environment with the public's health.
