About this Event
Blazers Against Hunger is UAB’s largest crowdfunding event in the fall. The annual campaign raises money for Blazer Kitchen—an on-campus food bank that provides healthy food and toiletries to students, employees, and families with infants at the NICU-CCN.
By supporting the Blazer Kitchen through Blazers Against Hunger, you are ensuring that, as a community, UAB can address food insecurity that affects members of our own university family. Food insecurity makes learning, healing, and working a challenge. Whether because of an illness, a job loss, a move, or other unforeseen circumstances, food insecurity can affect anyone—even members of our own UAB family.
Visit uab.edu/blazersagainsthunger to donate, and share the campaign’s hashtag #BlazersAgainstHunger to raise awareness.
